Draft for review
This describes ExamKind as it works today, while accounts and some other features are switched off. It is waiting for a final read by our solicitors, and the wording may change.
In short
We use only the cookies needed to run ExamKind and to remember choices you make. Our website statistics use no cookies and store nothing on your device. That is why you don't see a cookie banner. You can still object to the statistics below, in one click.
Website statistics, and how to object
We count page views and a few events, such as when someone uses one of our tools, to learn which pages help parents and what to improve. Our own system does this: no Google Analytics, no advertising networks and no other third parties.
- Nothing is stored on your device: no cookies, no local storage.
- We never keep your IP address or full browser details. To count visitors, we use a code that changes every day, so we cannot follow you from one day to the next.
- We record only the country, the UK nation, the type of device and the browser family.
- When you use one of our tools, we record only which tool and a broad outcome, never what you typed in, such as a score.
- We use the statistics only to improve ExamKind, never for advertising.
If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as an objection automatically.
Managing cookies in your browser
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the strictly necessary cookie, our error report, complaint and request forms won't work, but our pages and tools will. Deleting the ek_prefs cookie removes your objection on that browser.
