Late forms and illness on a test day

Each school has its own rule. Tiffin School says: SIFs after the SIF deadline are not accepted unless there are exceptional circumstances (as determined by the school) with supporting evidence (Year 7 page: no late applications). A boy unwell on test day should not attend; email the admissions team on the day and another date is arranged. Aptitude assessments cannot be rescheduled. Late LA applications are considered only if on time under the home LA scheme, after on-time applications.Tiffin School 2027 entry: Late testingChecked 9 Oct 2026 against Tiffin School. The source says: 7.5. SIFs received after the SIF Deadline will not be accepted unless there are exceptional circumstances (as determined by Tiffin School). Supporting evidence must be provided.View the official source

The Tiffin Girls' School says: No late SIFs: the girl cannot take the Stage One Test. A child who does not take the test may still apply on the LA form but is placed below those who did; if places remain after normal allocation and there are no Valid Applications, the school will run a further test. A girl unwell on the test day should not attend; parents email admissions@tiffingirls.org on the day with evidence and an alternative testing day is organised. The Tiffin Girls’ School 2027 entry: Late testingChecked 9 Oct 2026 against The Tiffin Girls' School. The source says: Any candidate who does not take the test may apply on their local authority application. However, these applicants will be placed below those who have done so. If places continue to be available after the normal allocation, and if there are no Valid Applications, the School will administer a further test.View the official source
