More about entry from our guide

Bancroft's has a Prep School and a Senior School. The two main ways in are 7+, into the Prep School, and 11+, into the Senior School. A smaller group of students joins the Sixth Form at 16+. Children in the Prep School move up to the Senior School automatically at 11+.

Every route uses tests that Bancroft's sets for itself. When you register, the school also writes to your child's current school for a confidential reference. The 7+ and 11+ registrations close on the same day.
