The maths and reasoning sections are adaptive. That means each new question is chosen by how a boy answered the one before, so the questions grow harder or easier as he goes. For this reason he cannot go back and change an answer in those sections. Verbal reasoning asks a child to spot links between words, while non-verbal reasoning works with shapes, pictures and sequences. Look on the College's Year 7 admissions page for any practice material it offers.

Most bursaries start in Year 7, but the College also awards them at Year 9 and Year 12. It does not offer them for Junior School entry. The income figure is one of several guides the College lists, alongside things like savings and property, so it is not a fixed cut-off. Our bursaries guide explains how a means test like this usually works.
