How far offers reached
Each bar shows how far from Nonsuch High School for Girls the last child offered a place lived, under the last admission rule the offers reached. Up to five years, on one scale.
Qualifying is not the same as being offered a place.
Reaching the school's standard means your child can be considered. If more children qualify than there are places, the school gives places using its admission rules, in order. The figures below show how far those rules reached in past years. They are history, not a prediction: they change every year with who applies.
Applications and offers, September 2026 entry (Department for Education)
How many families applied to Nonsuch High School for Girls and how many places it offered. Applicants per place is all applications divided by offers. Families apply to several schools and not every applicant qualifies, so it is not the chance of a place.

About these figures
Is there a Nonsuch cut-off score?
No official one. The SET pass mark and the pass mark for each NWSSEE paper are only set after marking, and they are not announced beforehand. Neither Nonsuch nor the Girls' Learning Trust publishes the lowest total that won a place in earlier years, and we have found no official source for one. A "Nonsuch cut-off score" quoted elsewhere is not an official figure.
What actually decides a place is where a girl's total sits within each admission group. For 2027 entry the school fills places in this order: (1) Looked after / previously looked after children who reach the pass mark or score up to 20% below the standardised SET and NWSSEE pass marks (evidence before the SET). (2) 85 places by highest Entrance Test score, irrespective of home address. (3) Up to 35 places for Pupil Premium-eligible children (pass mark or up to 20% below), rank order irrespective of address; unused places go first to criterion 4. (4) Up to 125 places by highest score for girls living 5.25 km or less (straight line) from the school front door on 31 October 2026, reduced by EHCP, LAC and PP places. (5) Any remaining places (up to PAN 210) by highest score.Nonsuch High School for Girls: Oversubscription criteria (2027)Checked 9 Oct 2026 against Nonsuch High School for Girls. The source says: In the event of the number of eligible applications exceeding the number of places available in year 7, places will be allocated in the order set out below:
View the official source
So there are really several "cut-offs" each year: one for the places that go purely on score, one for the pupil premium places and one for girls inside the catchment circle. None of them is published in advance. We are still checking council figures on how far the catchment places reached in past years, and will add them once confirmed; any past figure is a guide, not a promise.

How the Nonsuch ranking works
Passing both rounds makes a girl eligible; it does not give her a place. Every eligible girl then goes into one list, ordered by this total: Final total = SET score (re-standardised and divided by 2) + standardised NWSSEE English + standardised NWSSEE Maths. Policy 4.5 wording: NWSSEE marks added to half the SET aggregate mark, "with each part carrying equal weight".Nonsuch High School for Girls: Score composition (2027)Checked 9 Oct 2026 against Nonsuch High School for Girls. The source says: The final total score is the sum of the SET score (re-standardised and divided by 2), the standardised English NWSSEE score and the standardised Maths NWSSEE score.
View the official source
Put simply, the SET result is halved so that it weighs the same as each of the two written papers. A girl who did well in round one but less well in the written papers can be overtaken, and the reverse is also true. Places are then filled from the top of that list inside each of the admission groups explained below.
After round two, girls who pass both second-stage papers are told only that they are eligible, with no scores; a girl who does not pass a paper is given her standardised score and the pass mark for that paperNonsuch High School for Girls: Results disclosure2027Checked 9 Oct 2026 against Nonsuch High School for Girls. The source says: If your daughter passes both the English and Maths NWSSEE papers and is therefore deemed to be of selective ability, you will not be given her scores but you will be told that she is eligible for a place.
