How far offers reached
Each bar shows how far from Bournemouth School for Girls the last child offered a place lived, under the last admission rule the offers reached. Up to five years, on one scale.
Qualifying is not the same as being offered a place.
Reaching the school's standard means your child can be considered. If more children qualify than there are places, the school gives places using its admission rules, in order. The figures below show how far those rules reached in past years. They are history, not a prediction: they change every year with who applies.
Applications and offers, September 2026 entry (Department for Education)
How many families applied to Bournemouth School for Girls and how many places it offered. Applicants per place is all applications divided by offers. Families apply to several schools and not every applicant qualifies, so it is not the chance of a place.

About these figures
BSG has not published a cut-off score or allocation figures in any document we could check. Each family's results email gives the score needed to reach the grammar school standard. Because some places go purely on score, the lowest score that wins one of them changes from year to year; we have not found it published.

Notes on these dates
Missed the September test? BSG takes a late registration for the September sitting only with evidence of something like illness or bereavement. Other girls who register and apply late are tested in the spring and considered after the first round of offers. Consortium documents give different closing dates for that spring route, so we are checking which one applies; please contact BSG's admissions team directly in the meantime.
