KCS has a junior school for Years 3 to 6 and a senior school from Year 7. Boys join the junior school at 7+, 8+ or 9+, and Year 5 is the last point of entry there. The senior school takes boys at 11+ and 13+, and the sixth form takes both boys and girls at 16+. Every test is written by the school itself. KCS is not a member of the London 11+ Consortium, so it runs to its own calendar.
