In short
There is no London pass mark. London's grammar schools are in a handful of outer boroughs, and each borough, or each school, runs its own test with its own scores and rules. A score from one test cannot be used for, or compared with, another. This page points you to the right borough page.
Pass marks in each London area
Each area's page gives its qualifying score and each school's cut-offs, with every figure linked to its source. Where an area has no pass-mark page yet, the link goes to its results page or guide.

Making sense of a score
- Qualifying is not a place. Reaching a school's score makes a child eligible to be considered. Each school then offers places by its own admission rules, which can include where you live.
- Compare like with like. Schools use different tests and sometimes different score scales, so compare a school's figures with its own past years, not with schools in another borough.
- Past scores are history. A pass mark tells you what happened in one year. It does not predict next year's.
One application
However many tests your child sits, you make one application. London uses the One London-wide application system (the Pan-London scheme) for the 33 London councils and SurreyLondon: Coordinated admissionsChecked 13 Oct 2026 against London Borough of Redbridge. The source says: The common online application system used by the 33 London LAs and Surrey County Council

This page links to the borough pages rather than repeating their figures. Each of those pages lists the official source for every score, date and rule it shows.
