Reading the school table

The table above lists the schools in the partnership with each school's latest lowest score offered, where we have checked one. Some schools report this figure by admission category, such as pupil premium applicants, so the number shown may belong to one category only. A qualifying or minimum score set by a school or area is a different figure: the area pages linked above explain those. Only compare a figure with the same school's figure in an earlier year, and only within the same category.

Why the lines move

Most of these lines are set after each year's results, by a panel, a committee or a school's governors. They reflect how that year's children scored. A figure from last year is a record of what happened, not a promise of what will happen next.

Sharing results across areas

Because the test is shared, a child's result can be used in more than one area if this was chosen at registration. Timing matters: requests to share results after the registration deadline are not considered until after offers in March 2027West Midlands: Results sharing deadlineChecked 9 Oct 2026 against King Edward VI Foundation Birmingham. The source says: Any request to share results after the registration closing date will not be considered until after school offers have been made in March 2027.View the official source. If you are applying across two areas, check each area's rule above before you list schools on your council form.
