Many 11+ results for September 2027 entry have now arrived. A result is not an offer: places come from your council's application, which in most of England closes on 31 October. Apply through your own council, list schools in your real order of preference, include a school your child can attend whatever happens, and check your own council's date. Kent County Council's closes on Monday 2 November 2026.
For September 2027 entry, Chelmsford County High School for Girls set its eligible score at 92 or above, plus 'of the standard' in Creativity. Of 1,119 girls who sat its FSCE test, 476 reached it. Churston Ferrers Grammar School in Brixham, Torbay, has changed its admission rules for September 2027 entry. Families whose children sat the Consortium of Selective Schools in Essex (CSSE) test now have their results. The consortium emailed results at the close of business on Monday 12 October 2026.

Send your council application by 31 October, or your own council's deadline if it differs.
Families in Kent and Medway will hear this week how their children did in the 11+ for September 2027 entry. The two areas run separate tests, send results on different days and have different application deadlines, so it is worth checking which dates apply to you.
