More about entry from our guide

The school calls itself FHRP for short. It belongs to the Francis Holland Schools Trust, which also runs a sister school at Sloane Square, and it has its own admissions. It was founded in the AnglicanFrancis Holland Regent's Park: Religious characterChecked 10 Oct 2026 against Francis Holland School, Regent's Park. The source says: Whilst FHS is founded in Anglican tradition, the school welcomes all faiths, and none, with every faith being represented in each year group.View the official source tradition and says it welcomes girls of every faith and of none.

Most girls arrive in Year 7 or in the Sixth Form. Now and then a place opens up in another year group, so it is worth asking if you are looking at a different age.

About the Consortium assessment. FHRP is part of the London 11+ Consortium. Rather than each school writing its own paper, the member girls' day schools use one common assessment, so a girl applying to more than one of them is assessed only once. It is taken on a computer and comes in two sections. Section one tests maths, English, and reasoning with both words and shapes. Section two moves on to problem-solving and a comprehension task with a creative side.

Bursaries are set by the Francis Holland Schools Trust and follow the same rules at both of its schools. They are usually offered to girls joining in Year 7 or the Sixth Form, and each award is looked at again every year. The income figure is a guide: above it, a family is unlikely to be considered. Families with a full bursary pay a much smaller deposit. Our bursaries guide explains what a means test usually looks at.
