More about entry from our guide

Francis Holland Sloane Square is part of the Francis Holland Schools Trust. The Trust writes the admissions and bursary policies, and the school runs its own entry process within them. You register with the school directly.

There are three routes into the senior school. Year 7 is the main intake. The Sixth Form takes new girls in Year 12. In between, the school fills a small number of spare places in Years 8 to 10 each year.

The written stage is shared. The school belongs to the London 11+ Consortium. This is a group of girls' day schools in London that use one entrance test between them. A girl who applies to several member schools sits it just once. Francis Holland says the test is less about what she has already learnt in class. It looks instead at how she solves problems, thinks things through and comes up with ideas.

Most girls take the test at their own primary or prep school. The Consortium runs it on 27 November 2026, 1 December 2026 and 3 December 2026Francis Holland Sloane Square: Parts (2027)Checked 10 Oct 2026 against London 11+ Consortium. The source says: Consortium Assessment dates: One of Friday 27th November, Tuesday 1st December or Thursday 3rd December 2026View the official source, and each girl sits on one of those days only.
