More about entry from our guide

This page is about the College, which teaches girls from Year 7 to the end of the Sixth Form. Queen's College Preparatory School, for younger girls, is a separate school with its own address and admissions team, so we do not cover it here.

The College has two ways in. Year 7 is its main entry point. Each year, some new students also join the Sixth Form, which Queen's calls the Senior College. Sixth Form boarding is new. It starts with students joining Year 12 next September, and boarders live at DLD College London, a partner school, while studying at Queen's.

Bursary forms share that deadline. Shortly afterwards, the College also needs a separate exam entry form, so look out for it once you have applied.

The exam. Queen's is one of the schools in the London 11+ Consortium. The members share one entrance exam, so a girl who applies to several of them takes a single test, not one per school. The exam is done on a computer. Queen's says girls normally sit it at their current school. It is held on 27 November 2026, 1 December 2026 and 3 December 2026Queen's College, London: Assessment date (2027)Checked 10 Oct 2026 against Queen's College London. The source says: Applicants sit the London 11+ Consortium entrance examination on one of these dates: Friday 27 November 2026, Tuesday 1 December 2026 or Thursday 3 December 2026.View the official source, and each girl takes it on just one of those days.
