How far offers reached
Each bar shows how far from The Tiffin Girls’ School the last child offered a place lived, under the last admission rule the offers reached. Up to five years, on one scale.
Qualifying is not the same as being offered a place.
Reaching the school's standard means your child can be considered. If more children qualify than there are places, the school gives places using its admission rules, in order. The figures below show how far those rules reached in past years. They are history, not a prediction: they change every year with who applies.
Applications and offers, September 2026 entry (Department for Education)
How many families applied to The Tiffin Girls’ School and how many places it offered. Applicants per place is all applications divided by offers. Families apply to several schools and not every applicant qualifies, so it is not the chance of a place.

About these figures
Is there a Tiffin Girls cut-off score?
Not in the usual sense. There is no fixed pass mark, and the figures the school publishes, as held in our records, count the girls at each stage rather than giving the lowest mark offered a place. Here is what it reports:

Reading these together: most girls who sit Stage One are not invited back, and the places are far fewer than the Stage Two field. Most candidates already live in the Designated Area, so living there helps with priority but does not by itself mean a place. Any past figure is a guide, not a promise. Put simply, English outweighs maths, and Stage Two outweighs Stage One. Comprehension and creative writing feed into the English mark, so writing matters here more than in a multiple-choice-only test. Girls are then placed in order within the school's priority groups: Ranked by combined mark within selection-criteria categories. LAC/PLAC priority and the up-to-60 initial places (Pupil Premium in catchment, then Inner Area) require a combined mark at or above the 350th ranked mark of all who sat Stage Two. No fixed pass mark. The Tiffin Girls’ School: Qualifying rule (2027)Checked 9 Oct 2026 against The Tiffin Girls' School. The source says: Test scores are standardised and age-weighted. Then applicants are ranked in order of their combined mark within the appropriate category of selection criteria.

If your daughter is unwell on a test day, or you missed registration: No late SIFs: the girl cannot take the Stage One Test. A child who does not take the test may still apply on the LA form but is placed below those who did; if places remain after normal allocation and there are no Valid Applications, the school will run a further test. A girl unwell on the test day should not attend; parents email admissions@tiffingirls.org on the day with evidence and an alternative testing day is organised. The Tiffin Girls’ School 2027 entry: Late testingChecked 9 Oct 2026 against The Tiffin Girls' School. The source says: Any candidate who does not take the test may apply on their local authority application.
