In short
The SEAG Entrance Assessment is the transfer test used by Northern Ireland's selective post-primary schools. Children in P7 sit two papers in English (or Irish) and maths, set and marked by GL Assessment. Results are given as a Total Standardised Age Score and a band, and each school decides how to use them. SEAG publishes free practice papers on its website.
